The following features involving or relating to third-party products have undergone compatibility and integration testing with ContactEase.

E-Mail Applications
Information from the ContactEase database is available within other applications. ContactEase provides synchronization support for the Microsoft Outlook Contacts folders. All MAPI-compliant e-mail applications, including the following, can be integrated with ContactEase:

• MS Outlook 97 and above 
• MS Exchange 5.0 and above
• Novell GroupWise 5.2 and above

Fax Applications
All MAPI-compliant fax applications, including the following, can be integrated with ContactEase:

• RightFAX 5.62 and above
• Cheyene FaxServe 5.0 and above
• WinFax Pro 8.0 and above

Personal Devices
ContactEase includes synchronization support for 3Com Palm Pilot personal devices, including any new devices running the same desktop software as the following models:

• Palm Pilot III family and above
• Palm Pilot Professional
• HandSpring Visor

Word Processors
ContactEase includes a macro that can be used to pull information from the ContactEase database into the following word processors:

• MS Word 95 and above
• WordPerfect 6.1 and above

Business Card Scanners
Scanned business card information can be transferred directly into ContactEase using the following card scanners:

• Cardscan 300 and above

Database Platforms and Software
ContactEase supports the following database engines and platforms:

• MS Access
• SQL Server 6.5 and above

Clipboard Input
ContactEase is fully integrated with any Windows application that accepts clipboard input, including word processing and e-mail.
