Custom Reports

Q. How can custom reports created in an older version of METZ Phones Pro be transferred to ContactEase?

A. The .rpt files from METZ Phones Pro can be imported into ContactEase. Select File, Print Preview, Custom, Import. Locate the .rpt file, select it and click Open. The reports are now stored in the database so all other users will now have access to them.

Q. How can custom reports be transferred from one ContactEase database to another?

A. To transfer the reports, select File, Print Preview, Custom in the database that they reside in. Select the report from the Name: dropdown and click the Export button. This will create a local .rpt file (note the location the file is saved to). Once all reports are exported, in the other database select File, Print Preview, Custom. Click on the Import button. Browse to the location of the exported .rpt files. Select the file and click Open.
