Q. How can I clean up any duplicate records found in my database?

A. To clean up these records, use the Record Merge feature. You can merge only 2 records at a time. To do so, select the records and select the Merge option under the Record menu, or use the shortcut, F2. If the two records contain different information you will get a dialog box showing the different values and you can select which values to keep. If a particular field is selected for both records, both values will show separated by a semi-colon. If the records a identical you will get a dialog box saying they are and to confirm the merge.
